Performing the same task daily will either lead to a state of nonchalancy or, preferably, a moment or two of insight. Even though the messages of insight were probably something you have heard before.
Every one can cook, or for that matter, juice. The key and difference is in the proportion of the materials and the timing(of the cooking).
In juicing, matters are somewhat simpler because the only variable is the quantity of the different juices going into the mixture.
I am happy to share my recipe for my daily grapefruit delight. Note the proportions pl.
Ingredients
1 Grapefruit
1 lime
2 carrots (not the big big ones, nor the baby sized ones)
2 red apples (Fuji type are best)
Here, there is a mix of contrasting flavours which is usually the key to a good dish. The bitter-sweet of the grapefruit and the sourness of the lime is balanced by the different sweetness of the carrots and apples.
Try it and let me know if it works for you.

Juicing tips
Now that more people are using masticating juicers, I thought to share some experience here:
1) Citrus fruits like grapefruits and oranges are difficult to juice. One way is to juice in small quantities or intersperse the juicing with harder fruits like carrots.
2) Carrots and lime are very good for forcing the pulp out when the fruit is stuck and simply siwrling around.
3) Apples are very good for juicing. But remember to remove the seeds. According to some websites, they contain trace amounts of cyanide.
I am still happily juicing since Dec 08. So, folks out there with masticating juicer, keep up the healthy living.

2nd juicer
I just got my 2nd masticating single gear juicer to replace the first one. The gear of the first was damaged by some rough use -- squashing some tough fibrous fruits time after time.
I recall I bought my 1st juicer in December so it is a good three months of continous daily use, at least twice a day. This is one of the few toys I bought which was truly useful and value for money.

Mad over fruit juices
It was just an innocuous visit to the wheatgrass farm at Kranji countryside. But the offer was too good to refuse, especially for an impulsive buyer as I am. A manual masticating juicer at $39 down from its original price of $49, and comes with two packets of wheatgrass free.
But the tactic is successful not unlike printers being sold cheap but the regular change of the ink cartridges can kill you; same for razors - I have seen the Gillette Mach 5 turbo razor which I am using having promotions month in and month out but the razor blades never discounted.
I digress. Back to the juicing.
One packet of wheatgrass retails for $2.50 at NTUC, and my wife and I go through one pack every 1.5 days. We do not drink the wheatgrass straight, too much of a grassy taste for us.
Instead, I use the juicer for all kinds of vegetables and fruits including celery, green apple, red apple, star fruit, carrot, grapefruit, lemon and lime.
My mum's favourite combination is currently red apples with celery and carrot. BTW, celery is good for people with higher blood pressure.
