From my window, I see dark clouds gathering. Better close the windows now.
Within minutes, rain fell and that lump of dark cloud was blown towards the west. And as soon as it started, the rain stopped.

Imminent rain
The weather has been erratic today. It was hot in the morning when I was at the Botanic Gardens. Then, a shower in the late afternoon followed by bright sunshine again. Now, I can hear the bellowing thunder in the distance accompanied by flashes of lightning.
From my window, I see dark clouds gathering. Better close the windows now.

Hope that the refuse truck drivers did not have to do their work in rain just because of the delay waiting for the cars to get clear of their path.
