Queen Victoria Markets sights

Of all the places I visited in Melbourne and Victoria, I liked the Queen Vic market the best. The weather was cool, the market was clean, the food was plentiful, fresh, tasty and priced reasonably. And if you liked fruits, that was fruit heaven.
The deli section of the market. Easily my favourite place in the market.
This stall in the deli sells pickled stuff, like olives.

On one side of the market, there is a row of shops comprising restaurants, cafes etc.

The pasar malam side of the market.
Quite crowded on the Sunday we visited.

All sorts and colour of candy.
Close up of a 'pulled' candy. The video below shows the candy being produced by hand.
Local wines being sold by the owners themselves. Visitors are encouraged to try the wine. I bought a bottle each of white and red. Prices are extremely reasonable.
Nuts and dried fruit being sold in the deli section.
